Overview

Do you suffer any of the following: Bloating, indigestion, acid reflux, constipation, diarrhoea?

Or maybe you just feel like your digestion is not optimal?

Did you know that by improving your digestion, a lot of your other seemingly unrelated health issues might improve: headaches, skin issues, pain, mood issues, fatigue, brain fog, hormonal imbalances, etc.

I am a yoga therapist who specialises in helping people who have digestive issues. In this workshop, I will teach specific yoga postures and breathing techniques that will help improve your digestion, improve bowel movement and reduce symptoms.

I will also teach you special techniques that I have found very helpful with my clients:

  1. To activate the vagus nerve (very important for good digestion, as it regulates the parasympathetic response in the body, also called rest and digest state).
  2.  To relax/soften the psoas muscle (the muscle that acts as a ‘shelf’ for the digestive organs. Digestive troubles can happen when it becomes too tight and unresponsive).
  3.  To help with the better functioning of the main valves in the digestive tract (mainly the ileo-cecal valve, which separates the large and small intestine).
  4. Gentle belly massage.
